1. Saying “Hello” Politely

Start with a simple greeting:

こんにちは！
Konnichiwa!
→ Hello / Good afternoon

2. Stating Your Name

わたしは アリス です。
Watashi wa Arisu desu.
→ I am Alice.

Or casually:

アリスです。
Arisu desu.
→ I'm Alice.

3. Saying Where You're From

アメリカから来ました。
Amerika kara kimashita.
→ I came from the U.S.

Swap “アメリカ” for your own country!

4. Mentioning Your Job or Role

せんせいです。
Sensei desu.
→ I’m a teacher.

がくせいです。
Gakusei desu.
→ I’m a student.

エンジニアです。
Enjinia desu.
→ I’m an engineer.

5. Full Self-Intro Example

こんにちは。わたしはアリスです。アメリカから来ました。エンジニアです。よろしくおねがいします。
Konnichiwa. Watashi wa Arisu desu. Amerika kara kimashita. Enjinia desu. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.
→ Hello. I’m Alice. I’m from the U.S. I’m an engineer. Nice to meet you.
